We will gather at Freedom Plaza 3 blocks from the White House and in view of the US Capitol. Afterwards we will post pictures of this Visibility Action on social media #millionsmissing along with others from around the world to inundate social media and demonstrate that the mass collective action for ME health equality! We are the #MillionsMissing, and we will take a stand together and be seen!
As in 2016, empty pairs of shoes displayed will include individual notes to reveal what is missing from the lives of those who attend and to represent those too ill to attend in person. Bring your shoes and bring the shoes of others you know in our community who are too sick to attend! I'll have tags and pens to attach to them.
Please bring your shoes or send them to me. Here is the link for your tag :: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Pv8BjJ9RhTCpsmP1Z7Mk5ikSD2W-3RFJ)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPEAKERS :: If you'd be willing to speak briefly about one aspect of living with ME/CFS such as invisibility, the strain on relationships, the lack of treatments, your loss & grief - please contact me.
Our event includes ::
* Patients & caregivers with personal accounts of this invisible devastating illness.
* Local artists Mario and Jose Oretea will play their uplifting flamenco latin jazz. (They are AMAZING!)
