#MillionsMissing Visibility Action: Minneapolis, Minnesota

#MillionsMissing is a global campaign for ME health equality. ME is a multisystem disease that causes dysfunction of the neurological, immune, endocrine and energy metabolism systems. It’s more commonly known in the United States as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). This debilitating disease affects 17-24 million people globally and over 17,000 in Minnesota.

Help us make the invisible visible on Saturday, May 11th by joining our Visibility Action in Minneapolis and learning more about "the most prevalent illness you have never heard of." Last year over 60 people attended our first #MillionsMissing global campaign. Let's see if we can gather 100+ people in 2019!

-Two Speakers: a local MD, and a scientist/educator

You are welcome to bring a pair of shoes with an attached tag that states:
First Name:
Years Sick:
Missing From:
*We will have additional shoes and tags to fill out at the event.
A pair of empty shoes are a metaphor for all the things people with ME/CFS are missing… missing from their careers, schools, social lives and families due to the debilitating symptoms of the disease.
