#MillionsMissing Visibility Action: San Francisco, California, USA
#MillionsMissing is a global campaign for ME health equality. Help us make noise on May 12th, 2018 by joining our Visibility Action in San Francisco!
On May 12th, we will gather on the front steps of city hall in San Francisco (the Polk street side) at 12 p.m. (please arrive early).
The director of the Stanford Genome Technology Center, Dr. Ron Davis, whose son, Whitney, is very severely ill, will speak about the urgent need for ramping up biomedical research into ME. In solidarity, the Lawrence Carter Long of the Disability Rights Education & Defense Fund will speak at the rally about the effects of neglecting people with ME.
We will be displaying shoes. Please bring a pair of shoes that represents someone who is missing from their lives due to ME. Fill out this tag and attach it to the shoes:

Dr. Ron Davis will be one of the speakers at the event. Davis directs the CFS Research Center at Stanford University, and is also director of the Stanford Genome Technology Center at Stanford. His wife, Janet Dafoe, will also be speaking and their daughter, Ashley, will emcee the demonstration.
Instructions for the day:
Please bring a chair (folding camping chair etc.) or water, sunhat - whatever you need to be comfortable. (We will provide some chairs.)
