#MillionsMissing Global Virtual Meetup for May 12!
#MillionsMissing is a global campaign for ME health equality. No matter where in the world you are, throughout the day on May 12th, you will be able to call into a "virtual room" where you can connect with other activists.
The goal: a live, 24-hour, Auckland to Honolulu video call throughout the day. Homebound patients can connect with each another, share experiences, and find out what is happening around the world. On the ground protesters can call in to connect to their local events. (In the public room, they may even ask someone to speak to the crowd!)
The room will be unmoderated. For the best experience, download the Bluejeans desktop or cellphone/tablet app: https://www.bluejeans.com/downloads
PUBLIC ROOM: http://j.mp/public-virtual-MM
Here attendees at physical events can call into this room and share with everyone a glimpse of what is going on at their public visibility action and connect to the community online. People at home can connect with each other and share their experiences. We are so excited to be able to bring homebound people together!
Can't access the chat via video? You can also call in from your home phone. Find a local number here: https://www.bluejeans.com/numbers and when prompted for a code, dial "6028197837" to join the public room.
There is also a moderated and recorded call happening between 4pm Eastern Time (US) and 6pm. We are recording this call to enable people to protest, be seen, and make a stand virtually even if they can't leave their homes. For more information on this 2 hour call go to:
We are the #MillionsMissing, and we will take a stand together and be seen!
