Arizona #MEAction Organizing Meeting (in person and virtual)

Please join us for the first Arizona #MEAction organizing meeting Thursday, November  16, 2017. The meeting will start at 6:00 pm (MST).The purpose of the meeting is to form an Arizona  coalition of people with ME and allies to organize  actions, develop our strategy, and form a community! Arizona advocates we need you there!

For those in Tucson there will be an in-person meeting location at:

1. List of AZ ME specialists and ME-friendly doctors
2. List, incl contact info, of other Arizonans with ME
3. AZ state and city ME proclamations
4. AZ state legislature ME briefing
5. Lighting up various AZ landmarks blue for May Awareness Month
6. AZ Dept of Health letter to all medical providers about ME.
7. AZ Continuing Medical Education credits for Unrest and/or Forgotten Plague
8. Meetings with US House Reps and Senators from AZ
9. AZ ME Resolution
10. Train everyone to advocate at the national level
11. Get people to write Op Eds in their local papers
12. Establish a virtual AZ ME meeting place, Yahoo group, or email distribution list where members can communicate, share news, and seek support.
13. List of lawyers and legal resources friendly to ME and useful for disability claims
